THANK YOU LETTER

5/21/2012

Dear Rhea,

Thank you for being such a great supervisor. You showed to me how to work in an office environment and  I learned so much about the different types of tasks that people at work. For example I learned about managers’ responsibilities and how there are a lot of people who work with other media organizations. I learned what graphic designers do by from what I saw Selina did. Another benefit of interning with you is that I improved my Microsoft skills. You also taught me how to make press clippings by using websites and newspapers. Working in the museum also made my English be better because I read magazines and websites a lot.

I remember when I first came to you and I felt fearful of the strange work that I had never done before.  But when you explained it to me, I felt confident that I could do a good job. I think that this internship gave me a good view about office work and the museum itself. I learned a great deal about the different types of responsibilities that people in your industry have.

During the last ten weeks I met many interesting people and I really enjoyed the museum’s atmosphere. All your employees are so very kind and helpful. I also met other interns that were very friendly and we had a lot of fun.  I’ll never forget my last day and those sweet presents that you gave me. Rhea, thank you for your energy and warmth.

Sincerely,

Polina Grebennikova
